Albert (Texas, USA) is a multi-talented Instructor and UCWDC Classic Masters World Champion
Albert Tailleur is recognized as one of the top teachers, choreographers and performers in competitive country dance. Raised on a farm near Peace River, Alberta, he saw social country dancing for the first time in 1991. Immediately, he started taking group lessons at the bar, breaking down moves from videos and six months later, he entered his first competition. Formal coaching sharpened his understanding of dance and performance; his celebrated competitive career culminated in the 2013 UCWDC Classic Masters World Championship with partner Rachael McEnaney White.
Since those early days learning to dance on the fly, Albert remains deeply committed to learning and teaching. His Pro Am students have won multiple world championships and he is frequently a top teacher at UCWDC events. He coaches and choreographs for amateur and professional couples, many of whom hold championship titles. Now living in Austin, Texas, Albert is an integral part of the global country dance community. Not bad for a farm kid from Alberta!
