Event attendees are welcome to take amateur photos or videos. However, it is important that you respect other audience members and the artists/dancers by using discretion while shooting and photos and video must be for personal use only. Media risers have been set up in the front 2 corners of the competition floor, for your use. If an artist/dancer has requested that no photos or videos be taken of them, our media volunteers may alert you.

Video recording of any of our workshops is allowed. Our instructors will remind attendees that a short 2-3 minute video recap will be filmed at the end of the workshop. Full recordings of workshops is NOT allowed. 

Non-professional cameras will be permitted. Please leave your DSLR or other detachable-lens camera at home. Only Calgary Dance Stampede staff and authorized media partners and volunteers properly identified as such will be able to take professional photos that you can check out on our Social Media pages.
