Energy Exchange Program

At the Calgary Dance Stampede, we believe in the power of community and the value of shared energy. That’s why our volunteer program is designed as an Energy Exchange—a way for you to contribute your time, skills, and enthusiasm in exchange for access to the unforgettable experiences that make the Stampede so special.

Your contribution might include helping with dance floor installation and tear-out, staff transportation, workshop support, CDS Store support, decorations, and more. In return, volunteers can receive incentives such as event passes, discounted tickets, or exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences, offered in a tiered format based on the number of hours provided.

The Stampede’s success depends on the dedication and energy of our volunteers. By joining our Energy Exchange Program, you’re not only giving back to the dance community—you’re also gaining opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate through dance in ways that go beyond what’s available to the general public.

All volunteers are expected to uphold the Calgary Dance Stampede Code of Conduct while representing the event.

The event runs Thursday evening through Sunday evening, so there are numerous time slots available to fit your schedule. Positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis so get your application in early to secure your spot.
