Competition

Step Into the Spotlight

Take your place on one of Canada’s biggest dance stages!

The Calgary Dance Stampede brings together dancers from across Canada, the United States and beyond for an incredible weekend of competition, connection and unforgettable moments on the dance floor.

As a UCWDC qualifying event, Country and Line Dance competitors can earn points toward qualification for the Country Dance World Championships. West Coast Swing dancers can compete in our WSDC Jack & Jill divisions, while the Country Two Step Tour (CTST) and National Country Dance Circuit (NCDC) provide even more opportunities to compete, earn points and grow within their respective circuits.

As a proud member of the Rising Star Tour, Calgary Dance Stampede also supports the next generation of West Coast Swing routine competitors, giving emerging performers the opportunity to showcase their talent on a premier stage.

Whether you’re stepping onto the competition floor for the first time or you’re a seasoned competitor, Calgary Dance Stampede has a place for you. Bring your passion, your hard work and your love of dance — and experience the energy of competing in front of one of the most enthusiastic dance communities in Canada.
