Pro Incentive Program

Purpose & Commitment

The Calgary Dance Stampede is committed to supporting and recognizing the professionals who contribute to the success of our event. This incentive program has been designed to show our appreciation for the instructors and coaches who bring their students to compete, and to provide a fair and transparent structure for how incentives are awarded.

Our goal is to ensure that every professional has access to clear information regarding eligibility, compensation, and event benefits. By outlining these incentive tiers and revenue requirements, we aim to create a consistent and equitable system that acknowledges your dedication, encourages student participation, and strengthens the overall experience for everyone attending the Calgary Dance Stampede.

We value the ongoing partnership and support of our professional community, and we are pleased to offer these incentives as a way of saying thank you for helping us continue to grow Canada’s largest and longest-running Country, Swing, and Line Dance event.

Eligibility & General Information

Professionals bringing UCWDC ProPro or ProAm students to compete at the Calgary Dance Stampede.

Revenue Calculation

Revenue includes:

  • Student competition passes

  • Dance entry fees for UCWDC ProPro and ProAm
    (Line Dance, Couples, and Jack & Jill entries are not included.)

All revenue:

  • Must be paid in full by March 25, 2026 (UCWDC entry cutoff)

  • Is calculated in CAD

  • Reflects refunds or credits, which may reduce final totals

Teaching Partnerships

Teaching partners may combine revenue toward incentives, with a maximum of two hotel nights awarded per partnership.

Hotel Booking

Professionals are responsible for booking their own hotel room. CDS pays the hotel directly for qualifying incentive nights.

Incentive Tiers

Professionals earn incentives based on the total revenue collected from their participating students.

Tier 1: Free 3-day Maverick Weekend Pass
Pro bringing at least 1 student competing with at least 5 dance entries

Tier 2: Free 3-day Maverick Weekend Pass and access to the Staff Hospitality Room
Pro bringing at least $250 revenue to the Calgary Dance Stampede

Tier 3: Free 3-day Maverick Weekend Pass and access to the Staff Hospitality Room and $180 or One Night Hotel Accommodation paid directly to the hotel by CDS).
Pro bringing at least $900 revenue to the Calgary Dance Stampede

Tier 4: Free 3-day Maverick Weekend Pass and access to the Staff Hospitality Room and $360 or Two Nights Hotel Accommodation paid directly to the hotel by CDS).
Pro bringing at least $1,500 revenue to the Calgary Dance Stampede

* Additional packages are available for professionals generating more than $1,500 in student revenue. Please contact us for details.

Important Deadlines

All revenue must be submitted and paid by March 25, 2026 to be eligible for incentive calculation.
Revenue received after this deadline cannot be included due to administrative constraints.
