WCS Competitors Seminar with Jim Tigges

This seminar is designed for dancers who want a deeper understanding of how West Coast Swing competitions work. Participants will explore the judging process, scoring systems, evaluation criteria, and how results are determined.
The session also provides valuable insight into how to interpret contest results — including what scores and placements truly reflect, and what they do not. Whether competing for the first time or looking to better understand the competitive side of WCS, this seminar offers practical knowledge that can help dancers approach contests with more clarity and confidence.
The Power of Patience with Philippe & Flore Berne

Patience is a key element of great West Coast Swing. This 2-hour intensive explores how slowing down and allowing movements to fully develop can elevate both technique and creativity.
The first portion focuses on building greater control, connection, and clarity in movement. The second portion introduces playful exercises designed to develop musicality, adaptability, and creative expression with a variety of partners.
This intensive is designed to help dancers slow down, listen more deeply to their partner, and discover new creative possibilities within the dance.
Dance Like a Champion with Mike Wagner & Satu Ketellapper

Train with former 5-time World Champions Mike Wagner & Satu Ketellapper in this focused intensive designed to elevate your dancing.
This session explores how gravity can be used effectively in Nightclub, while highlighting the small technical and creative details that transform good dancing into great dancing. Mike and Satu will share the systems and training tools they use to help dancers develop stronger movement, musicality, and overall performance quality.
